Whale watching in Húsavík (13:00) (Y02)

If Húsavík is the whale-watching capital, then this tour is the very flagship experience itself. Here at the Skjálfandi Bay, you and your travel companions can take the opportunity to experience whales, dolphins and seabirds in their natural habitats.

You will set off in a traditional Icelandic oak boat which sails with a crew specially trained to get you close to the local wildlife in the most respectful way possible. You can also enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a cinnamon bun to keep your seafaring spirits up.

This excursion is ideal for anyone who finds themselves in the north of Iceland, whether you are on a day trip or on one of our trips around the whole island.

Equipment and clothing
On this excursion it is very important that you dress for the Icelandic weather which can be very changeable and often quite harsh: don’t forget to take a cap and gloves! Be sure to also take good shoes that will keep your feet warm and dry. Warm overalls are provided. And don’t forget your camera!
