Whale and puffin watching in Húsavík (08:30) (Y01)

On this excursion you and your companions will not only be able to experience the legendary whale watching excursions on offer at Húsavík, but you will also get the chance to visit an island that is home to thousands of puffins.

You will set off in a traditional Icelandic oak boat and sail with a crew specially trained to get close to the wildlife in the most respectful way possible. You can also enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a cinnamon bun to keep your seafaring spirits up.

This excursion is ideal if you happen to be in the north of Iceland, either on a day trip or on one of our trips around the whole island.

Equipment and clothing
On this excursion it is very important that you dress for the Icelandic weather which can be very changeable and often quite harsh: don’t forget a cap and gloves! Be sure to also take good shoes that will keep your feet warm and dry. Warm overalls are provided. And don’t forget your camera!
