Hotel Klettur

A three star hotel where the name sets the tone of the atmosphere: Klettur actually means stone, and several places within the hotel rock formations penetrate otherwise straight walls.

Location
Hótel Klettur is a stone throw away from the most central areas of Reykjavík, as well as Hofoi Hus, Hallgrímskirkja and Perlan.

Distance from the centre of town: 400 m (approx. 4 minutes walk).



The rooms
The hotel offers 2 kinds of room, Standard and Deluxe.

The standard rooms are light and airy, and have a shower/WC, fridge, telephone, TV, iron and ironing board, safe, hair dryer and Wi Fi connection.

The 20 deluxe rooms are well planned and stylish, minimalistically designed and decorated. Half the deluxe rooms have balconies with a view across Reykjavik and the Hafnarfjordur (fjord). The other 10 have views across the bay and the Esia Mountain. Other than this the deluxe rooms have the same amenities as the standard rooms.

Other info
Breakfast is included and served every morning in the breakfast room. Staff are multi lingual, and the hotel is entirely non-smoking.
