Many horseback tours are arranged in the area, the Urridafoss Waterfall is only about 10km from the hotel, and you can reach the world-famous Golden Circle by car in just 45 minutes. The nearest town is Selfoss, it is about 15 minutes away.

Thanks to its distance from urban areas there is little lighting around the hotel – which means a better likelihood of seeing the northern lights if you are there at the right time of year.
